Movie Speed up and down when ripping to Mp4 file

Is there a way to keep the DVD player from speeding up and slowing down when it copy's a DVD?

The drive speed can be effected by the drive firmware, available memory, disc protection and other things in the software and hardware environment of your PC. Try using DVD Copy mode to write the disc to a folder on your hard drive, then run Ripper from that.

I used AnyDVD to slow the DVD down. Thanks for your help.
