Just attempted to download version 9194. Google advised that there was a threat to my system. Assuming that Google was up to their old tricks I immediately made Internet Explorer my default browser then proceeded with the download, however the download time is 8 minutes. I have no intention in returning to Google. Why is the download taking so long with Internet Ex. Do I have a problem?.

No, there may be some connectivity issues with the download server, I had the same problem and have reported it.
