Ripper crashes after upgrade to new version.

I was prompted to upgrade to the latest version (9.2.0.1) and I did so. Now whenever I insert a disk to rip the program crashes.

I opened a ticket and they advised uninstall/install/change. Some settings and I followed their instructions but the program still crashes.

Can someone please advise?

Can't reproduce this problem, we need the log andy. Start DVDFab with no discs in your drive(s), see if it will write a log.

I also am having crash problems! My drive does not recognize a new movie. But it will play the movie that does not show when I check the drive to see if the disc shows the title in the drive.It works for playing only using cyberlink power dvd 9 so the drive is working and playing movies but the movie seems to not be in the drive while it shows in the drive within cyberlink power dvd9. I have tried older ones they seem to work fine and copy fine. its got to be a new form of encryption. In my Case That is Fab 9.2.0.1 starts tries to read the disk in question. then after acting like its working fine for a few seconds it blue Screens my Pc. Again seems to be only this latest disc. all others tried work fine.

Thanks for the response. I've tried starting the application with no disk and it starts up fine. When I insert the disk the application starts to analyze the disk it tries for a few seconds and then a message appears "The program has stopped working. Windows is trying to find a solution." Then it crashes. This happens even with DVDs I have already successfully ripped.

I will post the log file (when I figure out how to find the log file!) I'll read your "tips for uploading log files".
