Other Passkey + DVDFab... overkill?

This is kind of a weird question, but I've looked around the forums and couldn't find an answer.

I have lifetime licenses for Passkey and DVDFab (most of the functionality).

Is Passkey really necessary? I'm asking because even with it running in the background I get an AACS error message, but it works regardless. I don't remember which discs do it, or I'd take a screen shot and post it.

It can have unpredictable results and is probably overkill. I have both and never use them together.

Now I just need more robust AMD APP integration for Fab.
