Question directed to Signals or other Mod

Hi I have noticed a handful of Windows 10 related problems, and I am well aware that this is a new operating system so such issues are to be expected. But I would appreciate any kind of insight you can provide on what Dvdfab is doing with future updates to prevent or fix these issues? Did DVDFAB have programmers running the betas ahead of time to seek out these issues, or did the team think it was better to wait until the final release came out before testing it with DVDFAB.

Finally as someone who has held out (not updated to Windows 10) would you suggest I dual boot, keeping Windows 8.1 as a second OS since it still works with DVDFAB, until the programmers can determine whats in the new OS that is causing issues with my favorite ripping software.

    Thanks!

I can't speak to what the DVDFab developers did or didn't do I don't work for or have any inside information from them. What I can tell you is I'm using Windows 10 and don't have a single problem related to the OS.

I can tell you that problems were created for many software applications by Microsoft's release of an 'Official' version of Win10 that was very different in some aspects than the pre-release versions. I can assure you that the developers are monitoring the situation. Note the response from 90312 in post #2 of this thread.

Personally, I do not plan to update from Win7 (64) until forced to do so by driver unavailability or a similar problem.

Most strange... I'm using DVDFab with Windows 10 (64-bit) without any issues.

And I can also confirm that I used DVDFab with every 'pre-release' version of Windows 10 without any issues either

Thanks to all who have responded with Win10 reports. My new lappy has Win10 and no issues with DVDFab as well.
