    Instructional DVD's

My mom asked my to back up her workout DVD's over Christmas, so the originals could be upstairs in their cases, and the others in a stack downstairs. Anyway, it seemed like DVD FAB just choked on them. I didn't think too much of it at the time.

Last week I was trying to rip some of my school lesson DVD's to my laptop so I could watch during breaks, and keep the original media at home, but had no luck with DVD FAB reading them.

    What am I missing?

I remember doing this long ago with DVD Shrink and some of my wife's pilate's DVD's, am I better off with Shrink on this task?

    Thanks, Mike.

This is a DVDFab forum so we would be unable to recommend other software to use instead of DVDFab.

What do you mean by choke? What and when does it happen? What version and mode of DVDFab are you using?

Let DVDFab analyze the disc, then copy and paste the text from the Info screen into a post. If DVDFab will not open the disc (Info page empty), post the log files.

        DVD's

I have the latest version (6.2.1.8) of DVD FAB. I had it set to DVD->DVD leaving the copy in a folder on my HDD.

By choke, I mean you can hear the DVD drive spins up, but nothing happens. I let it sit for 20 min spinning, and it didn't read the disc, like it was totally incompatible.

That could indicate that there is a read problem on the DVD. Can you play it on the PC using a software DVD player?
