    Multiple trims ?

Hi - Using ripper, there's an option to trim a portion of a disk - great, but it seems to only do one trim at a time? Is there a way to set multiple trims, to say break one movie into multiple segments?

    Hi Larry

The editor in the Ripper module supports multiple cuts and segments. There are several ways to accomplish it, but all work better when you are editing from a HDD folder rather than an optical disc. Use the Main Movie option in the Copy module to make one. See the capture to get started. In the example, I have edited a Merrie Melodies cartoon to preserve each segment where Foghorn Leghorn or the Dog get smacked on the skull and see stars. Subtitle timing is preserved after the cuts and playback is smooth for the video file after conversion in Ripper, you can watch the result here or download it if you want to see the subs included.
