Same computer, same operating system

I do not think it is a problem, but I will be reinstalling Windows 7 on this machine. I have a "lifetime" license. I do not have to "de-authorize" the software beforehand, correct?

Looking forward, when I build a new machine, it will likely have Windows 10 on it. Do I have to buy the software all over again, or a less expensive new OS license?

Yes, always deauthorize first!. It will look like you are installing on an additional PC if you don't. It only takes a few seconds.
