4k copy and burn

General question about the 4k copy and burn process. Been using DVDFab for years and love it. Do I need a 4k / bluray disk drive on my computer to copy and burn to disc? Does the dvdfab shrink to fit 4k onto a regular dvd? Thanks

Yes, you need a special drive to read the original 4k discs, see this post: https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/softwa...213#post352213

It is too much data to fit on a DVD disc. UHD Copy can shrink it to fit on a Blu-ray blank. In the future, DVDFab may add a feature like the BD to DVD in the Copy module that could convert to other formats, but at that point you are not much better off than if you started with a Blu-ray. If you don't really need the UHD aspect of this, give it a pass.
