IP address and dvdfab???

i have a question:

does it matter the IP address you purchase dvd-fab on?

the reason i ask - i am working on my dad's pc. he currently has the free version of fab. can we purchase the program and install it while his pc is at my house? then he'll take it home and start using it.

is this ok? will it work ok?

You should be sure to use his email address for registration, that is the one that will be used for generating lost keys and other communication from the developers. The forum keeps track of you by IP address and several other ways, not sure if the website does or not. I think it should work, I have bought gift subscriptions for others in the past this way.
