I'm fairly certain I paid for the added feature of Cinavia removal a while back. I've had a couple backups alert me that the protection was detected and would be "removed." I remember we had to manually check a box under the audio streams to remove the protection, when it came up.
Today, while backing up 2015's Ted 2 (Region 1 DVD), I get a message that it is protected by Cinavia and the backup will not play in equipment that detects the protection.
Am I to understand that the protection is defeated with certain discs only, or that I've lost the feature for some reason? Yes, the feature appears enabled under Common Settings, but then, I did receive a warning that appears to contradict that setting.
Hold the press: I just got the same message while backing up 2015's Legend (Region 1 DVD), as well. What is going on?
Thanks!
