    Other Hardware Info and Questions

Here's a link (for those of us in the U.S.) to my favorite DVD media on the planet...YUDEN00T02
    (also the best...JMO)

Thanks Maineman for the Heads up. Ordered DVDs today. Seems that company changed name to JVC.

Question... Does anyone have a suggestion for a very good, inexpensive Blu Ray Burner that I can purchase? Seems like there are many on the market.....

    I only have a BD-ROM drive, so I can't help you there.
(I don't burn BD's, just archive 'em to a hdd and use Blu-ray to Mobile).
    Check out newegg.com.
Look over the price range and customer reviews.
You should get a good idea of what's decent and what to steer clear of...
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

      TAIYO-YUDEN-T02's

thanks MAINEMAN, just brought some from your posting! Even worked out free shipping! I had a question about Img-burn, when burning sometimes I get during writing sectors, It reads waiting for buffers to recover and waiting for hard disk activity to reach threshold level!! Then starts writing sectors again! Burns still come out great with great picture quailty! I was using verb's at the time, and buring at half speed of disk (16x). I have an old pc, optiplex GX260, using core AVC and software! Could it be my pc is to old, and I need to slow down buring speeds for verb's to 4x's, and with the new TO2'S, to 4X'S or 2.4X's? Or is there something I'm missing! I have an PLEXTOR-PX-870A burner, PATA (IDE) 22x super multi format! It's been the best burner I ever used! Some expert advise would greatly apprecitated from MOD's and Members! THANKS VERY MUCH!
