Will not launch
Have just installed the new version onto my laptop but it will not launch. The installer ran ok. My system is Windows 7 enterprise 64-bit. DVDFab 7.0.9.3 runs fine. Any ideas please?

Try a reboot. An earlier version of v8 that I tested required it. I have not had time to try v8.0.0.2 yet.

Worked OK for me in Win7Pro(64). Be sure to run the installer "...as Administrator". Thanks for the advice. I finally traced the problem to my anti-virus software. For some reason it (Sophos) has taken exception to the new version. Once I created a rule to stop on-access scanning for the dvdfab exe file, all seems ok.
You are definitely right about the boot time, it takes several seconds longer.Comment
