Is it worth buying DVDFab ?

At this moment DVD is still a wide spread format but Blu ray is coming up. I'm not telling anything new by saying there are a lot of other products (sometimes even for free) who can also rip dvd's and even compress them.

Could someone tell me what's different about DVDFab ? Why should I buy this and not use programm x which is for free ?

Sure, there are decent freeware options out there and Fab is the best of the free rippers...JMO.
And certainly, there are freeware options for compressing, shrink being an old, very reliable example.

However, there is no product out there that is capable of performing the myriad of functions that Fab can...besides Fab.
To copy and burn a dvd, Fab can be as quick and easy as 1-click for the user.
Kinda like Ron Popeil...Set It and Forget It...
I think this is the point, plain and simple.

Fab is offered as a fully-functional 30-day trial with no strings.
Best to try it and judge for yourself

yup best way to tell if it is for you is to run the trial

One of the best advantages of DVD FAb, among the many functions it does, is the constant updates for copy protection and bug fixes. Yeah, some of the other programs are really good for something that is free, but sometimes you have to wait as a long as year for an update to the program.

If you want to be able to copy discs with newer protections, you will need a product that is under constant development, which is the case with DVDFab.

            Worth buying?
I bought this in 2005 and it's worth every penny?
My friends say ul it with key.
My answer is NEWER in my lifetime.
This program is always working and it has
a low price. If you can't afford it, stop copy DVD's.
Moderators have helped me when I had problems.

You're heading down a path many of us have already been down.

The only useful answer I can give you is: Go ahead, use the freebies! (your ubiquitous program 'x').

Then, 6-8 months from now, after you have suffered through disks that won't copy, copies that won't play in any machine, jittery pictures, no audio (or partial audio), subtitles that won't work (or won't go away) - and you've spent hours scouring the web trying to find answers to help you with these problems - and not found ANY answers (or at least, ones you understand)... then you might begin to see value in a program that also comes with a support forum (included in the price) to help you with your problems.

I suspect that at that point, you'll have answered your own question as to why you should invest the money in this program.

I expect to hear from you again when you're ready to buy!

I downloaded the trial version and tried the ISO rip, but twice it stopped working at the end. Did I do something wrong ?

Please start a new thread to describe your problem in the correct software support forum. Pick the forum based on the DVDFab product and copy mode you are using.

Don't buy it, I am still consistly trying to get past this expired regsitration problem. Nothing but constant headaches with the same tech support input - logged as admin, got it - remove previous download, got it - download new registation key, done that. Over and over again. Take my advice, find another program. I am sure there are others.

Maybe you need to read the link below as DVDFab works and registration works.

I took a look at your previous posts and understand your frustration with tech support and an activation process that's failing.
However, I don't know any specifics based on your previous posts here.

What modules do you currently have....or should have an active license for?
Are you lifetime on these same modules or do you have an expiration date.
Has your current email address changed from the one used for the original purchase?

You can post or pm me with this info if you prefer, and I'll contact Fengtao myself.

You Ain't Nothin' Unless Your DVDFAB

This is the best DVD ripper program out there. I can't remember how long I have been with DVDFAB because it has been so long. I tried a lot of those freebies, even bought a few of those that were out on the market years ago. They didn't work or the instructions were so disjointed you couldn't make head nor tail out of them.

Go with the best I always say and this is the best!!!

Now the question comes down, why, if you are so dissatified with FAB are you still on the Forum. I know you got problems, Maineman can fix them, but you sound like "sour grapes" to me.

DVDFab seems like a pretty good program. I have used multiple programs like this that have been around. Many have gone under or closed up shop.

I'd be interested in purchasing DVDFab, but I believe the pricing is way too high. I've told other people about the software but when I mentioned the price, no one was interested.

The price to copy/rip DVD and Blu-Ray is $300+ for lifetime. For me, I think the value to me is in the $100-150 dollar range. Many of my friends think it should be cheaper than that.

I think its a great program, but not for the price listed. I would definitely buy it if it was cheaper though.

I wonder if a lot of people posting about how worthwhile it is, with Lifetime subscriptions, purchased it when lifetime subscriptions were part of the main product and the product was offered as one suite with a single price.

The product was never offered as one suite until now well except for the DVD copy and DVD Ripper. But all the rest I purchased less than a year ago and the price for them that I paid is the same except for the Blu-ray part that is about $10 more now.

If you want a program that costs less then expect no support, no frequent updates and to always have problem burning to blank media
