Complient files for DVD or Blu-Ray, does it re-encode ?
If audio and video is complient for DVD or Blu-Ray does it re-encode or just author it to a disc. example.. an mkv from a blu-ray untouched, or an vob from a homemade dvd, or output files form cyberlink power director using complient output settings.....
thanks in advance for any input

Reason: spelling fix
My guess is that it re-encodes regardless, but I haven't tried it that way. VOBs from a home movie might not be DVD-Video compliant for instance, simpler code to just re-do them rather than test each to see.
