DVD Creator - trial message after creation

    Hi,

I bought DVD creator over the weekend after trialing it first and after tested it working with the 'dvdfab.com' watermark appearing in the top-right, I'm now creating the DVDs for a friend of the Olympic opening ceremony.

However when the process finishes (I'm converting from a MKV file to a DVD9) it still says I'm in my trial period, and that it will expire in 30 days?? The watermark has finished and I've installed the key so its all registered now.

Could you advise please, I have the following on lifetime:

    DVD Copy
    DVD Ripper
    Blu-ray Copy
    DVD Creator

.. and for some reason (though I haven't selected to try it)

    Video Convertor - expires 29th August 2012.

    Thanks

Please check ?->About in DVDFab to see if your new Creator license actually registered correctly. It should show "Enabled" and "Never Expire". If it does not, redownload your key from the Member center at dvdfab.com and re-register it.

Yes it shows that OK but the message still shows up. Is it just because there is a trial of video convertor and even though I'm not using it, it is prompting each time ?

      Thanks

It should not behave the way you describe if you are using Creator and your license shows as Enabled. I can't test it as I have a license for Converter also. If your DVD Creator license was in trial mode it would have a DVDFab logo watermark on the output video.

Thanks, it doesn't have the DVDFab logo watermark on the output video anymore. Shall I just wait and see what happens when the trial for video convertor expires at the end of the month?

            Hi daveni
I may be wrong, but I believe that when you used the ripper option, that the Video converter option ran after the conversion, I think it is checked by default and I believe that it should not be.

I had had this happen to me awhile back, while testing the ripper option I checked my purchased options and Video Converter was going to expire in 30 days.

Exactly the same thing is happening to me too.

NOT a problem and I am NOT complaining, just letting you know it is happening to more than one person.

My 30 day trial of DVD Creator expired and (as in my Help Please thread) I purchased DVD Creator for a Lifetime. When I open my DVD Fab it correctly shows as a Lifetime Licence for DVD Creator, and it works, NO logo embedded, but as reported on this thread it then comes up with your trial expires in 0 days.

                Hi,

I have reproduced the error, please wait a new build to fix the error. DVD Creator could be used normally.

I have the same problem. Contacted support and they assumed i hadn't licensed it correctly allthough i have and it is showing up as registered etc.

It's certainly a bug in the software.

See previous posts, it has been confirmed by the people at DVD Fab as an error and will be fixed in the next update.

If yours is like mine it still works okay, just get this incorrect message.

Okay, it is NOT the end of the World, but after many months and several updates, still getting this message.

Otherwise DVD Creator working perfectly, thank you..........

Me too. I just downloaded Fab 9 and although Blu-ray creator works great I still get the Splash logo on the top left of the screen, pluse the red words "Trial Version" on the screen when I'm encoding. ?? I do have lifetime use.

                              Help, Please
