It's strange that 8168 will convert the file but, 8210 just stops reading 0000 for the time remaining...This using the same file...

Yes I have had this same problem with any of the ver. after 8168

You have reported a problem; to help the developers find a solution, please post your DVDFab internal log sessions for these conversions. Sometimes fixes for one problem cause difficulties with another function that had been working fine and is seemingly unrelated.

You can edit or copy/paste from the log file using Notepad; mosst recent entries at the end.

8212 has the same conversion problem, it has been reported many times. Hasn't worked since 8168, which works just fine on conversion of .MKV to Bluray

Please update to the latest version 8213 and try it again.
If it has the same problem, please post your dvdfab_internal.log, thanks
