DVDFab v12.0.5.3 (Win) Video flickering from time to time

After converting MKV to Video ts, I noticed in some movies, but not all, some fast distortion, flickering of the image during playback. Is it cause by a slow CPU? (when using creator, CPU is at 100%)

And do you think by disabling all GPU Codecs and also disabling Lightning-recoding might fix the issue?

Thanks again for that great service

Please disable GPU to have a try. Thanks.

The version 10.0.8.4 is obsolete is is no longer supported. Try a recent version (v12.x.x)

Even if I leave my pc alone when converting, it’s still happening. Not much though, only twice during a 2 hour movie and like I said, not all of them.
I’m really starting to think that my pc is too weak. Is there a minimum CPU performance requirement?

            I have a intel i7 (I presume one core since it's 10 years old)
            2.0GHZ

Would it be best if I convert it to ISO instead of Video- TS

This is what it does after converting to TS or ISO, last about a second. Could happen multiple time during the movie or none. GPU disable or not, it doesn't matter. Some movies are worst than others. MKV h264 1080p to DVD9.

I'm using the 32 bit version.

                    Here's a few test I did,

If I take a 1.3G MKV file with a bitrate of 1 700 kbps and convert it to DVD, I get a perfect copy without any static. With a 5G mkv file with a bitrate of 5 000kbps, problems start happening, I get these distortion from time to time. I was able to reduce that problem by copying "same as source" and after compressed it with a other program to fit on a dvd.

To BD-25, I also get a perfect copy.

                    I hope that helps.

Thanks for the additional information. Same as source will keep the bitrate the same as the source. The output file size will be larger than other options.
If you have a need to compress the file to a smaller size, please later use the Copy module to do that for now.

I still get the image static from time to time when I convert it to dvd but not blu-ray. Like I mentioned above, if I choose "Same as source" It helps but not perfect. Do you think the problem will be fix or they won't bother since not many are using the dvd option?
