    8.0.9.0 qt corrupt download

The new QT version of Fab will not open when installed on my XP machine.
8.0.8.5 still opens fine. I get the not responding message when trying to restart the machine.

I uninstalled 8.0.8.5 and the new QT will still not open, in fact it will not uninstall, and completely locked up the computer. I had to use system restore and reinstall 8.0.8.5, as there were corrupted files even after restoring to an earlier date. There are some serious issues with the QT version of Fab.

The problem is an incomplete download, I had the same error. See this thread:

When i go to the link from the website it indicates 17.4 mb while downloading, but the file size after download is 18.2. That is the same as what i tried already with all the problems.

My best advice for now is to keep trying, it will be correct sooner or later. I will ask someone to double check it when the sun comes up in Asia. The file size in bytes that I posted in the other thread about this is what you should check, by right-clicking on the installer file and selecting Properties (check the file size, not the "file size on disk", which will be larger). It should be 18,247,408 bytes or 17.40208435 MB.

I think i'll wait. The file size appears correct, and the second download is exactly the same as the first one which caused all the problems. I'm sure it will be corrected sooner than later.

Please clear browser cache and try again.

The file on servers is correct, and we have checked them all.

I tried it again, and it will not open or uninstall. i had to use system restore again. I think i'll stay away from this version for a while.
