Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Because you are using it doing the compression !!!
I honestly suggest that you need to do a little homework on researching this forum so that you will not have to ask inane questions such as this.

Compressing with your optical drive will take longer and add more wear and tear on your optical drive. Like everyone said, read the entire disc uncompressed to your HDD and then use THAT file as your source to create another file that will be compressed to fit on a 25gb disc. Let your Hdd do the work. Also stay away from cheap media like Ritek.

To answer your original question, your CPU use is it 99% because Blu-rays have high bitrates and you are not sharing the encode/decode duties between your GPU and your CPU. Try setting some of the A/V Codec controls to CUDA. I suggest you try it with the encoding set to Software+CUDA. If you need to compress the main movie to fit on a BD25 (not always necessary), the advice in the earlier posts to copy first to your hard drive with no compression is sound. Conversions for mobile devices or players will also run faster from a hard drive folder than from the original disc.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Post the ImgBurn log from the burn and Fab internal log from the compression step. You will get much better results if you don't read and write the same hard drive (an external USB drive is fine). Update to 8092 also.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts
