Skipping and Glitching Blu-Rays

Why are my Blu-Ray skipping and Glitchy after Burning to Blu-Ray Disc? I have No Read Errors and I use the recommended Burning Speed of the Program. The last 4- Blu-Rays I've Burned: How to Train your Dragon, Legeng of the Guardian, 127 Hours and Tangled have beautiful Pictures and Great Audio but Skip and Glitch throughout the Movies. Please Help!

I too have been having this problem ever since 8.0.8.5. I just recently tried using the newest version 8.0.9.2 but problem still exist. I have succesful been able to back up these movies by using version 8.0.7.9 with no skipping and freezing problems. Here is the link to use older version that works. I have notified dvdfab about this problem but there is still no fix yet. Hope this helps you.

I use the recommended Burning Speed of the Program.

Never use that setting, it always defaults to the max supported speed of your burner and/or blank media. Speeds should be set to half the rated speed of you blank media. The problem is VSO or FAB doesn't report the supported speed unlike ImgBurn. VSO will create a burn log and report the speeds available after the burn is finished.
Only use "recommended" if using ImgBurn as the burning engine AND then you still need to set the supported burn speed of what ImgBurn reports is available. Click the link in my sig for how to set the AWS within ImgBurn. Always post you logs when having problems as Signals asked for.
Another suggestion, after each successful burn, delete your logs so if any problems come up they won't be a mile long. Make sure the burn was good before deleting any logs.

Just some advice, Burn the movie to your HDD first this is were you will do your compressing if any is needed and then write the movie to your BDR

Can anyone confirm if this issue has been fixed in 8.1.0.0? I have had the same issue for tangled and harry potter and the deathly hollows. The only work around is to go back to the 8.0.7.3 version to do the conversion and writing.

Going to try tangle movies now with new version. Will let you know if it skips or freezes later. Hopefully by now this problem has been fixed. I have been using older version 8.0.7.3 for awhile now because of this continuing problem.

Just backed up tangled. Well if this isn't weird or not. It played in my Lg Blu-ray player fine. Put it in my sony blu-ray player and it wouldn't even read the disc. Going to try again using a bd-re to see if it will play in my sony. Always something here lately with the new updates. Always works fine with older version. Used the latest version 8.1.0.3. Will try again!

I just watched the same spot where it freezed and skipped before with other newer version. The newest version does seems to work just fine. Let me know if you or anybody else has tried movies that skipped before with other version and now it works or doesn't work with the latest newest version. Maybe they finally got this problem fixed with this version. Hopefully!!!
