    Blu-ray films that will not copy

    Below is a list of blu-rays that i have come across that will not copy. When DVDfab is opened up and the disc inserted the progress bar comes up on screen but just keeps going for hours until i have to stop it. A log is below of as far as i can get. I have tried different copies of the films and different versions of DVDfab to rule them both out so it must be something with the discs. I have copied hundreds of others without any problems at all.


    MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 1 AND 2
    ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS 1
    GHOSTBUSTERS 1
    STONE
    THE POLAR EXPRESS
    JONAH HEX

    Thread modified to be specific to you.

    I believe these titles have been out for a while and others have not been reported them as problematic. Have you tried a different computer with a different BD drive? That may not be easy, but it seems to be the consistent factor with your issues.

      I don't have another computer to try them on but i know 2 other people who cannot copy some of them on the list so i was just seeing if anyone else had the same problems and what they thought it could be.

      CAN ANYONE CONFIRM IF THEY HAVE COPIED ANY OF THEM ON THE LIST PLEASE

          worked for me. (long time ago)


          Sounds like you might of had fingerprints or even tiny scratch on the disc?

            I have done Polar Express, Jonah Hex, and all 3 Mission: Impossible discs, but not with current versions of DVDFab. I did not burn Jonah Hex to an optical disc after watching the original. I agree with the others, try a different PC if you can and clean the discs and your drive.

              I backed up stone. Could you delete completely and re install Fab? Also what are your system specs? Are you using original BRs?

              or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

                  Thanks everyone for confirming they can be copied. Its just strange that i can't do these few but had no problems at all doing hundreds of others.
