Cinavia Problems - No option to 'click'

    Hey all -

This has probably been answered before, but there is no option to 'checkmark' "Create Protected Dsic (BDMV-REC) to disable Cinavia"

Is this due to my burner? I am using a full registered version of Blu-ray Copy (8.1.2.0). I am trying to back up Green Hornet.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can find the check box only when opening the disc with Cinavia. And to use "Create Protected Dsic (BDMV-REC) to disable Cinavia" function you must to burn and copy as bd50/bd25.
    See the screenshot.
    Hope this help you!

Yes your burner must support it! Which burner do you have?
        For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
        or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log

It needs to support binding nonce generation, which is seldom listed in the published specs, but DVDFab can query the burner and find out. Post a dvdfab_internal.log from a Blu-ray Copy operation, it will have the data.

I'm pretty sure lite on does not support BMDV-REC. The next question is your player infected? PS3?

Signals said something about needing to support nonce generation ("1m 48.51s: Supports binding nonce generation: NO") which my burner does not. Guess I'm SOL on Cinavia discs...

Here's what I was talking about with the inability to check BDMV-REC:

Ah well - thanks for checking Kind of lame that Lite-On doesn't support this (have always used their drives!) but it is what it is.

Yes we understood what you were talking about, and the fact the Lite-on burners do not supports BMDV-REC. But do you have to make a protected backup? Are you playing on a PS3 or a player infected with Cinavia?

Look for an inexpensive standalone player, many of them are still Cinavia-free.

Mine is a Panasonic BD-75, firmware version 1.19. Bought it at Best Buy 3 months ago for 99.00. Works great, Cinavia free. I also have a Lite-On burner (212). Incapable of making a protected disk.
