    fabcore help

I have copied stake land and point blank to my external hard drive in full disc with no problems but when i then do a full disc 50gb to full disc 25gb then i keep getting a pop up saying fabcore has a problem and needs to close and do i want to send it to microsoft. Is this a problem with my computer or dvdfab. I have tried 3 old versions of dvdfab but they are all the same which makes me wonder if it is my computer. These are 2 new films though so it could be something to do with these. Please help. They are brand new discs and are unmarked. 99% of the other blu-rays have been fine.

It appears from the log that the main movie was not decoded or encoded for some reason, possibly a playlist error. See if the full disc folder that you made from the original disc will play correctly using a software player like PowerDVD10 or Total Media Theater 5. Not sure about the fabcore crash, the QA Team will need to look at that aspect of the problem.

      Hi HIGH VOLTAGE
      Please disable Lightning-Recoding in settings.
Also is your externnal mapped with a drive letter?

        Hi,

Please try to copy the movie to PC HD itself. And let us know the result.

Thanks all. Will try the above but just remembered that i copied the movie to my external hard drive with the last version of dvdfab and then i updated it to the latest one before compressing it to 25gb so now i have the latest version i will do the full disc copy again and see from there.

If you try it with a new version, please post an internal log file of the disc to HDD conversion also.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I have disabled Lightning-Recoding in settings and this seems to have done the trick. Its running now as i type this and has already gone way past where it did before. I'll confirm when its done but its looking good. The question now is do i enable Lightning-Recoding when its done for the others that i do and whats the benefit of it. Cheers.

To re-enable it, just go back to Common Settings and put a check back in the box where you removed it. The benefit is tremendous if you have a quad core CPU and use it for encode or decode during compression (in BD Copy) or conversion (with either Ripper). If you use CUDA or other GPU acceleration exclusively for those tasks, it really doesn't matter.
