    DVDFAB BluRay Copy Not Working

Recently, DVDFAB BluRay Copy has stopped working on ALL disks.
I have Lifetime licenses for all BluRay versions of DVDFAB.
I am currently using the latest non-BETA, 8.1.3.8.
HOWEVER, I have gone all the way back to 8.0.8.5 and I am seeing the SAME problem.
Basically, the BluRay is read fine. I am trying to go from a full disk to a BD-R (25GB) disk. This has worked well in the past.
I start processing after the disk is read and it looks fine.
At EXACTLY 1.63% the processing progress stops. The bitrate begins to go down and by 10 minutes or so, has gone away completely. DVDFAB will stay this way basically FOREVER. I have waited as long as 10 hours.

Basically, DVDFAB is completely useless to me at this point.
Any ideas what is going on?

      Hi TheGM
Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

        Hi jsurm
Post a full Internal log for the movie your having problems with and not a partial log.

Thanks so much! This seems to work.
Now, is this due to the NVIDIA GTX460 CUDA functionality? Or just NVIDIA generally? I'd like to understand why the 'supposedly' faster GPU processing can't be used with DVDFAB.

Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little,
and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick,
          and if we got sick, at least we didn't die;
so, let us all be thankful.

It can be used, I use it every day. There is some problem with your card or the nvidia driver version. Check and see if it needs an update. Also, try using it for encoding only, instead of decode and encode. Could be a heat issue.

You need to copy the movie to the HDD as a BD50 then set that as your source and make your HDD the target and do your compression there. Once that is done install ImgBurn as your burning engine and write the files.

I too am completely unable to open any bluray discs. I've tried reverting back to 8.0.85 but that didn't work either. I've tried 6 discs to no avail.

Can someone tell me how to get the troubleshooting done?

Posting my internal log. The "disc failed" happens after I give up and cancel it.

I am also having problems opening any Bluray disc. I've tried 6 of them to no avail. It just hangs on the opening disc dialog. what is strange is the internal log is very empty. This started happening with the latest version. I tried to revert to 8.0.8.5, but that didn't work either. Can someone help?

Here are the logs from a couple of attempts. I think the "failed" message happens when I give up and click "cancel"

Are you connected to the internet when you are getting this message? If so I would do a complete uninstall and then reinstall.

yes, I am connected. And I have done an uninstall / reinstall (both the latest version and the revert to 8.0.8.5)
