    Extremely Slow Bluray Backup

Hi all, i am a virgin Blu-Ray Backup user so please be gentle...I am in the process of backing up my 3D version of the Lion King, but the write time is estimated to take 8hrs 40mins!! and thats after 23% has already been written...
Something not quite right i am guessing...i am backing up onto Panasonic 50GB Dics and write speed is currently 0.9MB/s...
Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong?
I am doing a full disc backup from disc to disc...

    Please help...many thanks everyone...

There are all sorts of stuff that can be effecting your write speed!!! Being new you should browse through the forums to help you speed things up. First of all lets start with your system specs most rigs consist of 4 cores and 8 gigs of ram, since you are writing to a 50GB disc you are not compressing which takes time, to further help you I would need to see your logs which are located on your C drive under documents DVDFab. Just post the log for the title you are having problems with and just copy and paste it. I'm am looking for your internal log. We need to make sure your drive is not in PIO mode also.
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s)and post right here.

Fire up task manager how much cpu is being used. If drive is indeed in PIO mode it will cause lot of cpu cycle to be consumed.
If you fail to plan...you plan to fail wouldn't you not agree..Think about it

Go into settings in Fab and set all codecs to software and disable lightning encoding try again and see if it's faster

It normally becomes slower unless you have a very powerful cpu, but it should be more compatible.

Blu-ray Copy really need a powerful PC, a quad-core or i7 cpu will be very helpful.

Try Clone mode for 3D discs. Write it to a ISO on your hard drive, then open that with DVDFab if you want to process it further, i.e. extract Main Movie only, etc.

I asked for system specs in 2nd post. But he is not compressing, all the movies I have backed up I use software and disable lightning encoding. And every rip is about the same time. 25-35 min to the HDD! And I have a AMD phenom with 12gb of ram
