    Anyway to backup TV shows?

I don't have any problem backing up Blu-Ray movies, but when I try to back up Blu-Ray TV show discs I have problems. I have been trying to back up my Twilight Zone Season 1-5 Blu-Ray discs. I can rip them to the hard drive with no problem. The discs are all between 30GB to 40GB and I can't seem to compress them. I can burn them to a Double sided Blu-Ray disc (50GB), but when I try to compress them to a single sided (25GB) disc it never seems to work right. Anyone know a way to do that?

          Hi captainken

Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, while here Disable Lightning-Recoding restart Fab and try again.

          Hope this helps

Thank you so much, I did just what you said and it work perfect. It was just stalling during the copy process before but now it is working great. I am not sure what was happening? When I finish the TV showes should I go back to the old setting for movies or leave the setting as they are now? (it worked find on the old setting before for movies)

              Hi captainken
              Glad this helped you.
You should leave the settings the way they are now.

Can I ask why it is preferred to disable all optional features, such as lighting encoding, and CUDA? I mean, why would the developers of DVDfab even implement those kind of features if it never works when you use them?

And should all of us disable those features? Or is this recommendation only for the original poster based on his log files?

                    Hi all
I'm not sure of all the reasons but what I have seen with some members disabling Cuda and Lightning-Recoding helps some users who have just an on-board graphics card where it may struggle compared to a GPU used in a PCI slot and even then they still have problems.
