please help

[bigsmooth]

im having trouble using dvdfab 8.1.6.1 & all versions. whenever i try to copy a blu ray, it gets anywhere between 14.10 to 15.70 percent completeand just stops copying. no matter what movie i put in. i read about going to the a/v section and disable lightning, but still no success.
i have a copy of my log as well. what can i do?

this is where it is currently. so far 1 hour 14 minutes have elapsed. stuck at 5.14 percent.

Does it do this with just one certain disc or any disc (or BDMV folder in your case)?

Hi bigsmooth

Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

Please do not compress from your drive
First save it to your HDD as BD50 without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use "Main Movie" mode select BD25 to compress to another folder on your hard drive.
Use the "Write Data" mode of Fab to open this COMPRESSED folder and burn to a disk.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

it starts the copy process. then when i gets around 14 percent done, the encoding speeds drops all the way from 4.08mb speed until it there is no process at all. all my dvds get stuck at 15.10 percent done and it wont start back up.

Try cleaning with a little Windex or something and a lint free cloth. Wipe from the center hole out to the edge and try again. If that doesn't work for you it may just be a badly manufactured disk, exchange it if you can.

ok will do. but i followed instructions yesterday about copying full disc at 50gb without compression. that when i went to copy main movie from hard drive as instructed, i got the same error. process stops at 15.10 and never starts again
