    New Problems

I've had no difficulties til this w/e - hadn't used the program for a couple of weeks. I,ve been backing up full disc to HD, then compressing to HD, then writing to BR Disc.
Tried Stop Making Sense and got a Processed Failed message. Updated the software and got the same thing.
Tried Monterrey Pop Vol 1 and was able to back up but not compress. Error # 1010(504.00.0)

I've tried posting the log but it appears to be too many characters. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

I can already tell you that people will say "disable lightning re-coding and try again", So I'm saying it before they can. Yay me!

          I'm happy for you!!
Why would that rear it's ugly head now, after so many succesful back-ups?

            Hi PeterDoubt
The reason may be that after installing a newer version the previous version settings may not have stuck.

Well that didn't help...left it running all night, got up this am after 14 hrs plus and it wasn't doing anything - noe messages, but no action. Progress was about 26% with supposedly 5 hours to go.
I really would appreciate any ideas. I only updated after it wouldn't back-up the Talking Heads movie. Do you need any other log info?
Haven't heard from the official support yet.
              Thanks again...

First of all, thanks for letting me know there's a Talking Heads movie. I must have! Secondly, if you're approaching the 2-3 hour mark and the process still isn't half way done (especially if comparably sized discs have finished before by then) know for certain there's a problem and stop it so you can preserve the wear and tear on your blu-ray drive.

Stop Making Sense is one of the best concert films made...directed by Jonathon Demme. Right up there with Scorcese's The Last Waltz.
I had the copy process going over night, which I usually do. Never had a problem like this before.
I turned Lightening back on, backed up the disc again, and then tried the compression again. This time it worked. I was able to then put it on a BD disc.
This was Monterey Pop. Tried the Heads again and was still unsuccessful. Error reading at the same place every time.
Tried just movie and the same thing.

Since the log you posted was incomplete, we can't tell which movie it was. Please post the complete log for this title as an attachment if it won't fit as text in a post.
