i use a bluray copy and convert it to dvd but i have no sound with windows media player, and on dvd devices, but i have sound on vlc, is this caused by cinavia? there is some solution now, my dvd devices are old so i think cinavia in on the dvd itself

Not the typical Cinavia pattern, and an older DVD player would not be sensitive to Cinavia anyway. Sounds more like the players won't decode the Dolby DTS sound. Are you using DVDFab Blu-ray to DVD to make the conversion?
