Can't convert 50 gig 3d to 25 gig disk

I tried to convert the movie Final destination 4 3d to 25 gig as left/right 25 gig disk from a 50 gig iso.I used 8185 and the convert stops at 3.55% it just hangs their.I also tried to convert the same 50 gig iso to full 3d 25 gig and the exact same thing happened i sent in that log a few days ago and never heard back.For the sent in log I even checked use all software in fab and no acceleration with the same results.Enclosed is the log for the left/right convert.

You can try disabling Lightning-Recoding
Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, uncheck Lightning-Recoding restart Fab and try again.

It makes no difference if you check or uncheck use softwear
only and uncheck lightning recording the program freezes up a little while after the converting starts it just freezes i can't make a 25 gig 3d full movie or a 3d 25 gig side by side or even a m2ts 8.5 gig copy nothing works they all freeze up soon after starting and the settings don't matter.I am getting tired of being a beta tester this needs to be fixed fast even the last beta was this way other people are saying the same thing i am not the only one.I even reset dma and cleaned up with reg. cleaner then reinstalled with same results.

Your log shows a number of errors. Try the original disc instead of the image file.

Is failed to get max sector and failed to detect media type error's in my log you refer to as i see these in many peoples log files.Mine say that and then seem to get the max sector and the media type later in the log.Maybe it didn't detect media type because i didn't put a disk in the drive yet and when I did the log then recorded my disk id.If these are error's you refer too i don't see how this can effect the fab program from encoding a Iso and stop in the same place can you explain this please?

Also i tried a different movie it took 13 hours to make it ran at a very slow .087 mbps but after 13 hours using a dual core computer it made the 25 gig movie.I burned a 25 gig blu ray using the fab burner that reported a good burn in the log but it doesn't play correct.What happens is the main movie plays for about 5 mins using PlayStation 3 with 4.0 software then the picture wiggles and if you hit the next button on the remote control the picture freezes and the only way to get the picture off the TV is to turn the play station off.I can't play it on my computer the picture just wiggles as the disk is playing i can't play full 3d anyway on the computer just the blu ray part.

I burned the 25 gig disk on a bd-Re thats 2x speed i believe i read somewhere 3d blu ray needs to play at 3x if this is true can a RE disk play at 3x if its burned at 2x speed? Just a thought as i don't know why the picture wiggles about 5 mins in but it seems to play fine for the 1st 5 mins and the trailers played fine in 3d i think their were 3.I don't have the log for this one but i did look at it and at the end of the log it said job successful and the burn log said same maybe not exact wording.I tried to put the 25 gig fab made movie back in fab to burn with fab on a faster disk 10x bdr to see if it makes a difference but fab won't take the 25 gig file back in the fab program to make another burn so i guess i will do another 13 hour convert to see if using a faster disk makes a difference unless i can get a answer here before i make it.Please advise thanks.

Need help converting 50 gig 3d to 25 gig 3d

I have tried to convert happy two feet 3d to 25 gig 3d using a faster disk just in case the slower disk made a difference it didn't make a difference.Any disk i have tried acts the same it works fine for any stuff on the disk before the main movie even clips in 3d then when you play the main movie movie it plays fine until 4 Min's and 41 seconds then it starts with funny artifacts like blocking in the video.Also you can fast forwards at 10x speed then the blocking goes away during fast forwards but when you stop fast forwarding the movie freezes and the only way to get the frozen picture off the screen is to turn the PlayStation off as none of the buttons will work once the picture freezes.I then made a sacrifice and updated my play station software to the latest 4.11 version from 4.00 and it wasn't PlayStation's older software causing the blocking effects at the same spot on different movies.I used software only on the other movie and that didn't make a difference i will try it one more time on this movie using software only but i am making a lot of coasters and feel if their is something wrong with this program you should tell us not to use it till it gets fixed this will be my 4th 13 hour try to make a 25 gig 3d movie to work with the play station.I hate being a beta tester we paid good money for this program and would like some support on fabs end thank you hoping for a reply and a fix.Both the burn log and fab program told me each time the burn and convert was successful so if their are errors in the log the program says everything went well.

OK I converted happy feet 2 3d to 25 gig and burned it for the 3d time.I used the use all soft-wear and unchecked turbo and the burn log looks good and now the disk won't play in playstation 3.The menue comes up I press play and the menu comes up again no other option on the menue works.For me this program doesn't work with the play station.All older converts to 3d 8.5 gig and 4.7 gig side by side disks work fine that were made with older fab programs.I can't get this latest version or the one before it to work at all.The one log of a earlier burn had some error's a member of fab staff said yet fab made a very good 50 gig 3d that plays fine with the error's in the log.Is anyone else having trouble converting 3d from 50 gigs to 25 gigs and playing in a PlayStation? Is anyone from staff reading this i even sent in 2 earlier logs and have no replies for a week now is their support here please?

I have burned Happy Feet 2 & Waiting Evil just recently on DVD FAB 8.2.0.0, only on Main Movie. It gives me an error: 105 message when i try to burn to full disc at dvd5. But I'm within 90% of the full burn. Isn't it suppose to compress it automatically during this process? Is it a new type of protection? I just wanna know...

Error 105 means over size. Please make user you have select "Convert DTS/LPCM audio to AC3".

I have exactly the same problems as the poster above:

CUDA/Lightning recode: Plays for a few minutes then picture gets garbled
Software only: Movie file does not play at all, it returns to menu.

This has been tried on 3 different computers with similar configurations.

On the other hand, I did lend a CUDA-converted disc to a friend who has a 3D player that is *not* a PS3, and he did not say there were any problems, I will try and drop by his place to check it out, maybe it is a PS3 issue?

It must be played on PS3 in you case. It's an known issue on PS3. Please seek a little time after the garbled pictures appears and it will be OK later. On other 3D players, it's ok in the whole playing.
Software only: Movie file does not play at all, it returns to menu.
What's the movie? Please post the latest internal log.
