    Slow or Normal Scan?

Just experimenting with various settings on BD Copy and in this case, with the 'Slow Scan' and 'Normal Scan' option ---Slow is 6 to 7 times longer (as expected) than the Normal setting and when viewed through the Dune media player to my HDTV at full 1080P resolution, I can see no discernible difference in the quality of the video being displayed --- Can anyone enlighten me (without getting tooo technical) on the differences between these two settings and their probable effect on the finished BD copy file (in M2TS format) --- Thanks

I use standard, it is slow enough and I can't see any difference either. There may be some improvement with some content, fast action or horizontal camera pans, etc. If you are using BD50 size output or not compressing to get below 23GB for a single layer blank, it probably does not matter.

      Scan Speed

Thank you Signals - I appreciate your response - I'm copying the M2TS main movie file to a NAS drive for streaming when I feel like watching so no compression or anything fancy

Yup, I've experienced the same as both you and signals.
If there is a difference, it's indiscernible...to my old eyes anyway.
