error while copying contraband

i get this error right away while trying to copy contraband -

Please post the logs as suggested.
Also disable GPU Codes Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

The Region A (US) version works fine with v8178, I just tried it. Post the internal log and tell us which Region/Country your disc is from. If you have a nvidia GPU, make sure you have the latest driver installed.

thanks to you both for the suggestions. it was the cuda codecs that was causing the hang. this was my first copy attempt after installing my new 680s
