    3D Copy New Thread Prefix

This is to make everyone aware of the new thread prefix for questions or problems that relate to copying 3D Blu-ray discs. Questions about 3D Ripper should continue to be placed in that forum.

As this prefix populates, you will be able to use the forum Advanced Search functions to provide you a list of only the threads on this topic. If your new thread is about a problem, be sure to put the DVDFab version number in the thread title.

thanks for the new feature, ive been waiting for this forever.
    I tried to remux Wrath of titans 3D (31.2gb) to a BD25.
At my first try , everything went fine except the final File was 23.5 gb
and it doesnt fit on a BD25 (23.3gb). At my second try i manually set the target size to 22 000 mb and the result was a file of 23.2GB (just enough).
I was wondering why it does that?

every try worked well; i converted my original file to an iso file and the SSIF folder was there virtually . The next step is: will it play in my ps3 or my bluray player... I'll come back later for the result..

    suggestion:
maybe if we could choose which language we want to keep (HD or Not), we wont have to compress the main file and keep higher quality.

    sorry for my english

IMIHH1- You don't say if you used the side by side or the full 3d when you converted to 25 gig.I can't get the play station to play the full 3d version with 4.10 PlayStation software you can fast forward at 10x then when done fast forwarding the picture freezes on screen and only turning the PlayStation off will release the frozen picture on screen also did you play the whole movie because it will freeze at some point in playing the movie on my PlayStation.Just try fast forwarding the dvd and see if it works or freezes up if you used the full 3d option.Side by side worked.I used the same version fab as you as the newer beta is even worse i get picture break up and freezes after playing about 4 mins of the main movie. What version is your PlayStation's software? Funny thing is the full 3d disk played fine in a Samsung 3d movie player just can't get playstation with the newest softwear to play it.

i made a full 3d bluray.. and you're right it freezes in my PS3 (4.10) after 5 min... i have no problem with SBS
But with my LG home theater bluray it seems to play well, but i didnt watch the whole movie.

3D Main Movie to BD25 - SBS quality concerns

Is DVDFab currently limited to output 3D BD25 discs from BD50 discs converting to 3D Side by Side as THE only 3D option?

isnt' that bad for video quality? Original Blu ray movies dont use SBS, only low bandwith broadcasters such as DirecTV

I don't care for menus, extras...nothing. All I care is to get the best possible video quality from BD25. In 2D DVDFab does that just fine.

But what about 3D? We're losing video information converting to SBS!

Is planned to support "full resolution 3D" anytime soon?

            Thanks, keep the good work

SBS = the resolution in half (720p)
              FULL3DHD = 1080p for each eye
yes new dvdfab build can reduce 50GB 3DBD to 25GB native 3DBD but it doesnt work in the PS3

I'm trying latest DVDFab latest build (actually it's a beta) and using Main Movie to BD25 it only gave me the option to "Convert to 3D Side by Side".

                Or 3D to 2D.

                But that's just it

                  All,
Please start new threads about 3D topics using the new thread prefix, having them all in one thread make it hard to find questions and answers.
