    Analyzing Very Slow

3 different titles took longer than 30 min to analyze, reverted back to 8.1.9.0 and analyzation completed in under 4 min. I have an I7 Ivy bridge system ann evga GTX 460 V2 and 24 GB Ram.

Yes I am having the same problem, It started with 8.1.9.6 and I also tried the latest beta 8.1.9.7 with the same results. Also I noticed the compression times (BD50 to BD25) take much longer. I reinstalled 8.1.9.0 and the issue went away

Please post the DVDFab internal log entry from one of these "long analysis" titles so we can see what is happening.

              Me Too

Also noticed that the most recent versions are analyzing way too slow. I've also had to go back to an earlier version.

                v.8.1.9.8 QT War Horse

I had the same problem with WAR HORSE on the new version 8.1.9.8 at Main Movie. Took forever to analyse and then copy. Once thru that, burned normal speed. Ended up letting the whole process run all night. Came out fine, but a real hassle. Two others after that were normal timeframe Main Movie.

Probably had something on the disk that was hard to analyse....

                Just an FYI.

                    Analyzing problems...

I have had the same problem with the last few versions of DVDFab....
The analyzing process takes forever to complete...
I am including the log file as well as a few screenshots showing
that one process took 1 hour and 40 minutes just to get to 65%...

                      Me too.

                      i7-3770K/Z77
                      8GB DDR3 1600 RAM
                      Gigabyte AMD 6770

I was evaluating Blu-ray Copy 8.1.9.6, now 8.2, in consideration of purchasing when the trial expires.

In analyzing BD50 to BD9/1080p/i, it's taking 2 hours to completion of just that task. Whether choosing Software, DXVA or AMD APP, my CPU and GPU monitors just sit there as in an idle state. Unlike my observations in this yet unanswered post:
                      http://forum.dvdfab.com/showpost.php?p=119596&postcount=1

What's more, I cannot tell the difference between Software, DXVA and AMD APP nor does at any point in time is there an indication of what is actually in use. As in "whatever process using DXVA" when analyzing.

                      Any explanation/fix?

Forgot to mention in previous post: Win7hpSP1x64

Using Revo Uninstaller Pro and a registry sweep with WinUtilities Pro as well as a manual purge of two more registry items, I completely removed my installation.

                        I installed 8.2.0.0 and ran three BD50 > DV9/10800/i "analyzings" to 25%:
                        AMD APP 12 minutes
                        DXVA 10 minutes
                        Software 8 minutes
As before, my CPU and GPU monitors displayed as if the system were at idle.
However, the two-hour analysis previous experienced was no longer an issue.

But for all intents and purposes, my AMD utilization is broken which causes me to wonder if all the DVDFab claims are valid.

                        Again, any explanation/fixes?

                          v8.2.0.0 Qt (Win)

John Carter (2012) 3D UK, movie only 3d.. been stuck on analize between 70 and 80 % for 1 hour 30 mins then i had to cancel with out backing up movie

most others work fine and analize within 10 minutes.. only a select amount have this long analize bug.

UPDATE: Mounted the encyrpted image into a virtual drive and ran 'OTHER' on the fly decyrpting software and opened that with DVD-Fab ... then analize completed in 14 minutes??? un sure what that meaans but hope it helps to solve this problem.

I'm trying to understand what you mean by it takes to long to analyze, I did Iron Man II like someone else did in this thread! It took only 34min's and something and that was I guess to analyze and copy to HDD! Could someone explain the log I posted as far as time goes? I hadn't had any problems at all with new version or past versions! Correct me if I'm wrong with the time!, please!

                              analyzing very slow

Now I understand what everyone is saying about Analyzing to slow! If you run the BD-50 file back through Fab and compress to BD-25 its slow at Analyzing!
