John Carter /Lockout/ GetTheGringo not reading

With John Carter and Get the Gringo I get repeated read error. With Lockout the analysis takes forever and always freezes at 83%. I have tried reinstalling 8.2 and burning to disk @50 with same results.

I have moved your thread. I just tried John Carter (Reg A-US) with v8.2.0.0 and had no problem. Possibly a dirty disc or lens on your drive.

The discs are spotless and I don't know about the lens but Have copied several movies besides these.

they are RA US and I even downloaded v8.2 a second time fearing some code corruption. i have ordered a new lens cleaner, but haven't much hope there.

Hi rehsawg,
Please check your disc by VSO Inspector to check whether it is a bad disc.
Download VSO Inspector found here http://www.vso-software.fr/products/.../inspector.php
Put the movie in your drive and start playing the movie with a soft player, as the movie itself is playing pause it, but do not exit out of the player.
Start VSO Inspector and scan the disc, if it shows any errors then the disc is bad.

I made John Carter as a Main Movie on ver 8.1.8.8. Perfect and no problems. I have found that the newer version take forever to analyze. Don't know why, but the older versions don't...I have stayed using the old reliable, until I guess I have a crack issue....Then I will have to upgrade... But the old cliche... if it ain't broke.......

Read error is mostly caused by bad disc.
If you do not want see the read error popup dialog, please go to Common settings->DVD/Blu-ray->Read and select "Ignore all reading errors automatically".
