Hunger Games Compression Problems

I've been having an unusual problem that never happen before....when trying to compress " Hunger Games BD " after copying main movie (title 785) to HD into a 50GB folder (actual size 37.6 GB) using v8201 then compressing that to a 25GB ISO file.....when it finishedI got two files a 4.376 GB and a 7.56 GB and if I tried to open the 4.376 iso file it gave me an error message that I picked the wrong folder, if I opened the 7.56 iso it played fine, but it wasn't a for a 25GB disc . I tried it again using the same files thinking I must made a mistake , but it didn't change ....sooo I tried again using v8202 and movie title 17 and this time all I got was a 9.5GB iso file....so what am I doing wrong...or is this part of the new protection ???

*****I didn't noticed the War Horse thread until after I posted this one...so I guess it's not part of the new protection ...

The m2ts files proccessed in berdman's log are in a different order and a few of the files are different than what I saw when processing this title.

The playback of my ripped folder is not in the correct order in some cases. For instance, when played from the folder with VLC, it is a mess and jumps around all through the movie during playback. If played from the miniso file with DVDFab Virtual Drive on VLC, more of the segments are in the proper order but eventually one segment repeats and others play out of sequence.

8.2.0.2 Hunger Games will not compress

I am trying to make a 25 GB 1080p Main Movie backup of Hunger Games and DVDFab will not compress the movie. DVDFab says 36899 GB will compress to 22461 GB but when all finishes the file is still 36.8 GB. I rarely have a problem with 25 GB backups. Log attached.

It took about 3 hours start to finish but I was able to clone The Hunger Games and then extract the main movie and compress to 25gb.

My playlist starts with 1, not 17 like yours did. Maybe I am mistaken, but I thought the older releases needed to start at 17 but the 8.202 was patched to fix the problem and started at 1.

Anyway, I played the image (burned by nero) and there was not problem. The previous copy I made had real problem with stuff out of order but that was 8.185

I attached my log. It starts with the cloning and ends with the 25gb iso image being created. The nero burn was done using nero 11 and is not shown in the log as I do it separately.

I used CUDA and this system has a GTX570 as well as an HD5850. Only the HD5850 is listed in the DVDFab credits but you can clearly see that CUDA is being used for both decoding and encoding.

Same issue in another thread. Only have 8.7G after compress to bd25 when using the backuped bd50 main movie source.

Please compress to bd25 main movie from the real disc directly.

Compression problem

I tried 8.0.2.3 with same result. Hunger Games will not compress. Same log. Scanning was faster but no compression from 36 GB to 22 GB. Programs says it needs no compression even though being asked to compress to 23 GB. Program is getting a little unstable ever since this QT stuff.

How do you get the ISO file? I suppose that your ISO file cause the problem.

How do you get the ISO file? I suppose that your ISO file cause the problem.

ISO file was cloned from original disk with 8.2.0.0

Should be title 17 if you chose "main movie only" BUT I just tried v8205 and it still doesn't compress correctly so I'm going send files to Fangtao

...

I compressed T17 from a main movie, non-compressed rip as source to a BD9 with v.8085,
just to see.
No problems at all.

I'll try later tonight with 8206...when I get a chance.
