    Cabin in the Woods (Retail)

The retail Cabin in the Woods seems to have some copy protection that isn't removed. When I play it on something like a Popcorn Hour, after ~5 minutes I get a screen that encourages me to purchase the disc. (I did!) However, playing it back with DVDfab Media Player seems to work.

I tried both a clone, and a full copy. The clone version ends up 7 gigs larger, but both have the same problem.

Let me know if you need any more info to help get this fixed.

    Thanks!

If you are not using it already, try 8.2.1.1 beta. Get it here:

      Same result with the beta

I got the same result when I tried the new beta. FWIW, I am using a Region A blu-ray.

Let me know if I can provide any other info.

            All,

They have been working on this disc, it has some new protections. For now, please use Main Movie to make your backup, which Fengtao reports should work OK. There will be an update as soon as possible.

Yep, I can confirm that main movie bkup works perfectly,
which is just fine by me since I almost always use main movie for BDs anyway.

Different versions have different main movie title, no need to worry.

I have the same problem with a black screen coming up about 5 minutes into the moving saying that I'm playing a copied version and need to purchase. I typically copy the full disk when making a BD copy, how do I select just the main movie?
