Hows the tech support for micca boxes

My media player is the Micca ep600g2 that plays everything I can throw at it in every format including hd sound and 3d in folder or iso form.

Their are a lot of media players out their now i can only tell you about the one i have i am very happy with.Your 2t drive will plug in it and play from it.Theirs no included drive with this player.It streams and has a internet browser also.You can plug two external drives in its ubs inputs.You can connect it to your tv with hdmi or stream to the tv.Their are apps you can stream from also.

Yes without any hesitating i will tell you its going to be a great addition to your system and you can keep dvds,blu-rays 3d blu-rays and reduced to side by side 3d all on the same 2t drive you have now.It's nice to have everything in 1 place.

Fabs made copys full 3d or reduced to 25 gig full 3d and anything else you make with fab works fine.The media player has a very powerful audio/video processor Realtek RTD1186 one of the best on the market its very fast and plays everything i tried so far.Plus you won't worry about the Fox movies because media players are not effected by cinavia copy protection.

I live in England, United Kingdom and don't know if they will ship the item to me! I have asked on the micca contact page so fingers crossed.. I tried to order on amazon.com but it wouldn't let me and they don't have them on the amazon.co.uk site...

Tech support was good via email they updated firmware 4 times to take care of bugs and improvements.I do have 1 problem with hd dolby digital and my receiver a older version of their firmware works well but the newer firmware doesn't work for me with dolby hd and my Sony receiver.

Support has said this is the first time they have heard of this and that's were we stand with this issue now.Theirs very little blu rays that use hd Dolby digital most use DTS hd.I have a few concert blu-rays that have Dolby hd they also have other sound tracks so that's my only problem.

Older firmware will work so i can flash the media player with older firmware and the dolby hd works.The media player is backward flash able so older or newer firmware is able to be loaded on the media player.All the firmware versions are on their internet sight i downloaded them all so i can change from one to the other if i want to.I don't know if this is only a problem with Sony receivers or not I only know what they told me that its news to them.

amazon.com wont ship it to the uk. The site you sent me the link for micca ....thats the one i have contacted to ask if theY can ship it to the uk. It would be great if i could get one shipped over from china just need to know where to go .

hi jonatan I've looked at the one you mentioned and i don't think its hdmi 4 so wont play full 3d, just side by side. I'm not an expert though so could be wrong.

i think i've found one that can be shipped to the uk on www.adorama.com the shipping is $43 to the UK. can you double check for me to make sure it is the right one before i order.

You want a 3d media player that does all the high def. soundtracks.like i said to you before some 3d media players only play from folders some only play isos and some like the Mecca play both.Also check ebay maybe someone will sell you a new or used one their.Don't rush into this.

hi i never recommended a box to you but if i did i would go for a high grade z box i dl xbmc on it it will handel 3d with the right player micca looks good but not a good support forum imo iv packed my aios up due to limitations on the chip my top choice would be htpc

ps i have just open up new thread on converting to 3d as i'm having problems again....simply .i'm copying the 3d full disc 50bd but when i open it up from the hard drive it no longer shows the 3d options ...when i do another copy shrinking it down to 25gb the 3d disapeers and its just normal blu ray!!!
