If you've eliminated memory as the cause it gets tougher to find now. You might narrow the search a bit by starting the computer in safe mode with network and give it a try to see if there is a driver conflict somewhere. Something may be using a memory address that DVDFab is trying to use as well.

You are looking at an old log for me, I can't post updated ones as I keep getting errors that my quota is exceeded. Not a bad memory module as this happened on my old PC (Toshiba) and I upgraded to the i7 Samsung and when I had these issues I returned it and got a second one. The only way to get a copy to work is software only, lightning off, turbo off and memory usage set to normal instead of auto. A BD25 conversion takes around 6 hours. I did just process Killing Them Softly, which is small enough to not require conversion. Copy and burn was less than an hour.
I also tried the support group via emails and they finally sent it to the software developers.
I have seen several posts in the forum with problems like mien and have never seen a resolution.

So no conflict with another program or a memory problem its a software issue on dvdfab.
I have no access to my PC for the 2 nexts weeks. Maybe we can help you but we need support from your side. I have a i7 980X and a msi board with 12 GB Ram without problem and if i read ChazinCTi have a samsung so all ready 2 differents system with same issues strange no?
And sorry to tell again why with BDrebuilder i haven't this issue?
Thanks for your support

Hi skippy
Please see this thread for a possible work around for limiting CPU usage

I tried booting up in Safe Mode and started a copy - after an hour it was 2% doen and I shut it down. I also went back to my old PC that gave my son, we wiped it and reloaded Win 7 and it only has Office 365, iTunes and the Norton Security Suite on it. Its a Toshiba with 8GB memory and an Intel i3 M 380 CPU. Hunger Games BluRay rip using BD25 - software only was 3 1/2 hours - which was close to 6 hours on the Samsung with the i7. This is all very confusing.

I'm not doing any system changes like overclocking and have no issues with heat, etc. When I look at DVDFab via Task Manager, CPU usage is typically very low, certainly less than 5% and usually less than 1%.
Having said that, following these directions and limiting CPU usage down to 4 or 3 has no impact on performance.

ChazinCT, if you are just copying and no compression involved, the CPU(s) are not involved if on a DMA channel. The data goes straight from the optical drive to the HDD and bypasses the CPU.How to post the internal log

Hello,
