Please help w/HD Audio > Lossy Audio

New to this, so sorry if this s/b obvious.

Compressed backups to BD25 w/HD audio intact work fine. However, if I "Remove HD Audio" & select convert DTS/LPCM to AC3, I end up with a disc that shows an audio track "1/1 DTS", but NO audio track actually streams from the disc (my A/V processor shows no audio track rec'd.). I can't produce a backup that has compressed video & a lossy audio track

All 3 of my BD players produce the same result, & yes, all equipment is DD-THD, DTS-HD Master & lossy DD & DTS capable.

Would someone tell me what the exact settings are to produce a backup that has compressed video & a lossy audio track accomplish this?

    TIA!

Try checking ONLY the box to convert the stream to AC3. Formerly, this worked just by checking the Remove HD Audio box. Not sure why this is happening, but I can get an output with only AC3/5.1 following the setting above. Test disc: Taken 2.

Signals, yes unchecking the Remove HD Audio box did allow an lossey audio stream to be produced. By removing the HD audio, does it keep the lossy core(s) from being extracted?

HOWEVER, the AC3 stream I got had the center channel info. directed to the left side channel (in a 7.1 system)

FYI, the uncompressed track started as DTS-HD Master 7.1

I have the same problem i converted (Sessions) blu ray from 50 gig iso to 25 gig iso using convertor and i took out the hd soundtrack. The movie came out with a 5.1 dolby digital soundtrack but the center channel audio comes out of the left surround speaker in a 7.1 sound system. This needs to be fixed.

          Mangled audio whenHD audio removed.

I should have checked these posts sooner. I have the exact same problem now that I am using DVDFAB 9. It was not an issue with the latest version of DVDFAB 8. The support for CUDA is much better in v. 9 so my AMD processor does not get so hot. But I have the exact same audio problem as you state above. I placed the left surround speaker next to the center speaker for the meantime. It definitely needs a bug fix.
Since I am keeping the whole HD audio stream, I needed to use HDMI audio from the Bluray player. The SPDIF cable would not handle 7 channels.
