In regards to pathplayer, I see in Common Settings when I go to DVD options on the left are "DVD Protection", "DVD Copy" and then "PathPlayer" which I've set to off. However when I go to Blu-Ray there are no PathPlayer options anywhere on the Blu-Ray config screens. Does disabling PathPlayer for DVD's also disable is for BluRay discs?

As per your advise, I did try turning PathPlayer off in the DVD options and retried "Scent Of A Woman" but I still got a read error:

DVDFab v9.0.5.5 Error Reading Discs?

Are you using the latest version of Fab version 9.0.9.5 if not please download it and try again.

I think that was a typeo since the latest version appears to be 9.0.5.5 and yes I am using that version. I have carefully examined these discs and I can't see any deep scratches, at most one of them may have had a little scuff in one spot but the others appeared to be pristine. I've carefully cleaned them and they aren't dirty or have any grease on them.

Just as a wild try, one of my computers still has version 8.2.2.8 and it got farther than 9.0.5.5 to just about 12% before getting an error:

Are you using the latest version of Fab version 9.0.9.5 if not please download it and try again.Read errors are caused by dirty or scratched disks most of the time so if their are deep scratches you won't be able to copy them even if they play well.

Their was a problem with a few earlier versions of fab with reading some disks so it's always important to update to the latest version that corrected this problem.If you are using the latest program and still have a problem post your internal fab log files to the disks your having trouble with.

I'm not sure that this is specifically a DVDFab problem but I'm looking for some advice on why this is happening:

In the past six months I've had problems with two Blu-Ray discs in particular, the first is "The Incredibles" and the second is "Scent Of A Woman". I have three different Blu-Ray drives, two Pioneer BDR-208D's, BDR-207M and a third that just shows up as Pioneer BD-RW (no model number).

In the case of "The Incredibles" I tried four different discs in all three drives and in each case there were read errors on each disc. In some cases it would be at the beginning while DVDFab was analyzing the disc, in other cases it would get past that and when the disc was copying I'd get a read error somewhere on the disc between 4% and 20% and after clicking "Ignore All" I tried to let it sit for five hours trying to get past the read error and it never would.

The problem with "Scent of a Woman" is exactly the same, I tried two different discs in all three drives and again sometimes the read error is at the analyzing part otherwise it was either at 3% or 11%.

Of course one of the first things I did was clean the discs but no matter what I still get these read errors. Does anyone have some insight into what the problem is?
