I purchased the lifetime version of DVDFAB a couple of years ago. For the most part the software is great.
But, about one out of 20 blu-rays can not be ripped. To be clear, I can rip them to output BD50. But BD50 has no value to me since the discs remain ridiculously expensive. I've tried all of the combinations of ripping to BD35 (with GPU encoding, without, with and without lightning encoding) none of those work.
Since I can rip BD50 to a file is there a way to then shrink that file to fit a BD25 disc?
What happens is when I try to rip to BD25 it seems to be working fine up to a point. Then the encoding rate steadily drops and drops to 0 and will never recover. Discs that give me this problem will do the exact same thing with different originals and on different computers so I know it is the software.
