Fab version 9 previewer broken

Fab preview player not working in version 9125 when it does play it plays slow motion almost frame by frame.Seems last few versions have this trouble.
windows 7 home i7 processor.

Did you try it with a blu ray? version 8 works for me.

Yeah but not from a disc, give me a minute.

Yeah worked fine from the disc as well. I have switched back to the graphics card, not in that big a hurry.

Version 9 plays frame by frame or in slow motion version 8 works fine what can cause this? our computers both i7 and windows versions are the same.?

Are you using the internal preview engine? I am.

Yes I was using the internal I switched over to direct show and now it works fine switched back to internal and frame by frame back to direct show works fine so their it stays.Don't know why as version 8 works fine and was set for direct show.Whats the difference?

I had problems with subtitles on DirectShow, maybe you'll do better?

v9.1.2.5, Win7

- Internal Decoder is enabled
- I disabled all GPU/DXVA accelerations, really everything
(system only has an IGP)

Preview works ...
but after ripping/copying a single title
trying to preview anything again fails ...
After restarting the software preview works again without any problems.

Something seems not to be "reset" correctly.

=> DVDFab 8 didn't have this issue
when selecting the internal (=hardware-independet?) decoder

I also had problems with the internal engine I switched over to direct show and don't have anymore problems.

The v9 Internal Preview was changed a few releases back and has a new core engine. It may need an update, but I can't duplicate the problem by trying some random titles and not closing DVDFab, the function still works (Internal selected). Win7 (64).

ok, it won't help if the problem cannot be reproduced...

one last try:

1) Is the internal preview really hardware/GPU independent? or are the used any GPU accelerations in the new engine?

2) in my case i simply do the following
- select "Copy MainMovie"
- randomly preview some of the titles on the disc
- rip the main movie(!)
- after pressing "finish" preview doesn't work anymore

After pressing Finish, the Source is cleared and there is nothing to view. Your process steps don't show re-checking the box to activate the previous Source or loading a new one, allthough you may have done it.

The new engine should be all software, but this may not actually be the case. If I hear from them I will ask or they may reply here if they see it.

Preview works fine on the first pass but, after pressing finish and checking the title again it doesn't work the second time. Just information, no big shake.
