I was trying to make a "fair use" copy of a Blu-ray I already own of The Big Trail. This movie was made in 2012 by Twentieth Century Fox. I understand the whole deal with US users not being able to decrypt Blu-ray discs and that this is a US release, but folks in Europe may want to buy this movie as an import and may want to back up the movie for themselves/ remove region code, etc.. Anyway, when you insert the disc, a message pops up that states "This Blu-ray disc contains BD+ protection which is not supported for now." So I'm assuming that there is a new type of BD+ protection that needs to be broken. Can you guys look into this issue and see if a solution can be made for this movie and perhaps other titles which may contain this particular new protection scheme? Thanks in advance and I look forward to a new fix!

This problem is not related to the US difficulties. The disc has new protection. Please try it again in a day or two. I have the disc and will test it also. Is yours the version that is a single disc package or is it part of one of the "collections"?

I have that version also somewhere I think. The one I tested was from the Fox 7-disc John Wayne set, hopefully the same fix will work for both.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

DVDFab v9.1.6.1 Beta (Win) Raoul Walsh's The Big Trail 1930 John Wayne
Version 9.1.6.2 is out now and this movie still has a BD+ protection scheme that has not been solved yet. Would anyone like to venture a guess as to why? It's possible that someone not from the U.S. may want to decrypt this movie.

Clydecar7, I have no idea what you are talking about. A guy not from the US is working on it.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

This has been reported and is being fixed.
There are two versions of the movie on one disc, one was shot on 70mm film, the other was edited and transferred onto 35mm film. The 35mm edited version running time is 108 minutes.
There may be more than one version of the disc. The version I have that also has the BD+ problem is from this collection: http://www.amazon.com/John-Wayne-Fil...qid=1408415726
There is a second US version here: http://www.amazon.com/Big-Trail-Blu-...+big+trail+bluSupplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts
