Need more information? This is a writing error. Are you using the default vso burn engine or image burn? Image Burn is a better burn engine and can be found in third party products on the main screen of the forum.

yes I'm using the default vso, when I 1st installed blue-ray burner and dvdfab it worked great for about 6 blue-rays movies and then error 116. the burned stoped working in about 52 to 56% done, so i tried to reinstalled burner and dvdfab with a couple of dif blue-ray movies and the same thing error 116

This error code is often a hardware or media related problem. Please post the logs requested in the Help Us Help You document. I am moving your thread to the Blu-ray to Blu-ray forum and changing the title to more accurately reflect the problem.

            Hi sin city john,
As CBR929 pointed out ImgBurn is the better burn engine, hands down.
