    Help DVDFab won't compress

Personal sorry for my English, I am using the google translator, do not speak English, my language is Portuguese Brazil.

My problem here is this, when I compress a BD50 disc to BD25 using my GPU, it does not diminish the disk size.

When command do the same operation using the CPU it reduces the disk size.

    My setup:

    Processor: i5 3570k
Graphics card: MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozen III OC

    Windows 10 64bit.

I use the latest video driver available from NVIDIA 361.43

Making this procedure the GPU goes much quicker than done by the CPU.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Dragon16

To help you, we need to see the DVDFab internal log file and the fabcheck.log file. Please attach them to a new post.

Hi, same problem since i installed fab 9224 and updated to new driver for nvidia 361.43. When doing a bluray copy 25gb compression it's always result an uncompressed disc 50gb and i note when encoding the task percentage can pass from 25% to 70% and return to 26% after and the MB/s around 25 and sometime to 9500 !! When I put to software mode it works but take more than 5 hours (around 10 for everest) ! After i tried with fab 9212 i was using a long time and working flawlessly... and it's the same thing! So I reinstall 9212 and same thing.... maybe the problem comes from the new nvidia driver?

            Hi all
            How about disable GPU ?
Go to the common setting -> A/V codec - disable GPU
If disable it can be compressed , we can makesure that it may be the nvidia 361.43 issue.
If you go back to the old driver before update to nvidia 361.43. Could it be repro?

Soft result is also same things. It can not be not cause by nvidia.

Actually the problem was the nvidia driver update, only managed to make it work with version 352.84 (May 15, 2015), an old version.

Making the CPU it takes too long and the machine is very sluggish during the compression process.

Thank help everyone, and I cheer for you guys able to correct for this error.

                Thanks,

Is this just certain tiles? I can't reproduce it on Windows 10 with that driver.

The titles I tried weren't real recent releases, I've pretty much given up on BR for a lot of reasons. Just because it worked for me means nothing. I'm just a forum member like you.
