Same thing with me, latest version (from 12/31/09) is not opening any disc tried and giving the same internet connection error. Used it yesterday and everything was fine.Last edited by arcadeforest; 03-23-2010, 12:50 AM.

Ya, was working fine for me, I did a rip of the the whole movie and iso then came back later and tried to do a "movie only" rip and ran into this exact problem. Movie was "The Princess and the Frog". Ripping it for my 8 year old and was hoping to stream Movie only thru VLC. Oh well, waiting on a fix. Oh, I thought adding my device would help: LG HL-DT-STBD-RE WHO8LS20 2.00Last edited by Dirtydeedz; 03-22-2010, 11:43 PM.

Disc will not open
Also having trouble with ponyo - I get this dvdfab message: "Internet is required to open this Blu-ray disc. If you have firewall software installed, please configure it to allow DVDfab to access the internet."
The firewall is configged for dvdfab to access the internet, and nothing happens...

I am having issues too. Same message I tried version 6.2.2.0 same. Removed version 7 tried with 6 same message. I always clean the registry when doing my troubleshooting. Tried many different things. The last time I ripped a movie was the 12th on the 14th I installed a MS update so I looked up KB 976264 it fixes compatability issues with a long list of software. But here is the interesting part
[Applications that experience a change in behavior after you install this update
The following table lists the applications that were added to the cumulative update package. This table also describes the behavior of these applications after you install the update.
Application compatibility updates trigger several changes in Windows Vista SP2, in Windows Server 2008 SP2, in Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2. The following are the three most common:
Hard block
The update puts a hard block on the application. A hard block prevents an application that is incompatible with Windows 7 and with Windows Server 2008 from running on the system.
Note Microsoft enables Windows to put a hard block on a non-Microsoft application only if the manufacturer of the application gives its consent.
Soft block
The update puts a soft block on the application. A soft block notifies you when an application that is incompatible with Windows 7 starts to run.
Update
The update improves the application’s functionality in Windows Vista SP2, in Windows Server 2008 SP2, in Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2.
I tried uninstalling the update system restore reinstalling different versions and there isn't 1 that will work for me now. I can't believe the an update to Ver. 7.0.2.5 would totally disable FAB even after a uninstalling it.

Yes I am thinking that now as well since it just started happening this morning and I am sure the fab team are on it and trying to get it fixed ASAP

I also got the same error message (firewall bla, bla, bla) and I´m using 6.2.1.8 version. I´ve never had this problem before and the last time I used the program without any error was saturday 20th. I think it´s a DVDFab server error or something like that necessary to open any kind of BD.
