Iam not sure on how to explain it but when i pop in the disc it attempts to write but the (mb/s) just keeps on decreasing. Then after about 3 mins of attempting to burn it gives me a message Failed To burn DVD. Do you want to burn again? I have tried to burn several times and different type of files but it doesnt seem to burn anything

Post your logs The default location is:
        C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log.

Please just copy and paste the burn log(s) and post right here.
Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Try slowing your burn speed to 1/2 of the media you are using.

I clicked on the green check mark, went under write and slowed it down to 2x. But now when i hit start i get a pop up telling me to select write options. The options are recommened, fastest, slowest, 12x, 6x. I have selected all and all but one gives me burn error. The one that doesnt give me the error is the slowest. It completes the write process but when i pop in the disc to my ps3 the disc doesnt pop up on the screen. Any more suggestions?

Yes, I do have suggestions. Try to google RITEK-BR2-00 and you will see how many complaints.... This is probably the only media brand that have "do not buy" all over it. Please do your research before buy anything, otherwise you will end up paying twice.

Exactly, that's why it called "hit or miss" concept

I know that but its one thing for the disc to fail and no burn completely from time to time( hit or miss). But the problems I am experiencing i dont think are of the normal hit or miss.

What burn engine are you using, hopefully it's ImgBurn, if it is not, download it ( it is free, below is the hyper link for ImgBurn) and that should take care of your issue, if it doesn't, then please let us know.http://download.imgburn.com/SetupImgBurn_2.5.1.0.exe
