    Can someone figure this out??

I just built a new computer. amd 6 core, ddr3 memory, 9500gt video, sata3 hard drive. using the 7090 version of fab. this is a very curious problem. I went to backup Walk The Line and the first 15 chapters came out perfectly.

But when I get to chapter 16 where johnny cash is trying to decide what book to get his daughter the image becomes horribly pixelated. Then when I fast forward by chapter starting at 17 every chapter is pixelated. Isn't it extremely odd that the first 15 chapters come out perfect then the rest of the movie is pixelated?

By default fab uses Cuda, Cuda, software then software and cuda. so I tried DXVA, cuda, software, then software and cuda. same exact problem in same spot on the movie. I then tried ALL SOFTWARE as my settings and again same exact problem. I was so bewildered I put the original movie in believing it was faulty or dirty etc. But it played flawlessly. The first movie I backed up with my new equipment, using the cuda, cuda, software, software and cuda settings came out perfect.
    here are my fab settings:
    Graphics Chipset :
    NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT

    Supported Video Codecs :
    CUDA_MODE_H264
    CUDA_MODE_VC1
    DXVA_MODE_H264

    CoreAVC : cannot be detected.

    Does anyone have a suggestion.
    regards...

Yeah I would have to say the same thing, update and it should go away. I believe it was it didn't decrypt the BD+ on the second layer correctly.

7093 should fix it. Would also suggest you try CoreAVC, it may improve your overall speed with AVC compressed originals.

Hey guys good work. 7093 worked like a charm. I burned it to a rewritable and played it with powerdvd and I didnt see any pixelation. I used the cuda, cuda, software + cuda settings (they're my default). It took 3hr 33 minutes...

thanks much. I would hope that Fab will be able to back up 99% of movies. Walk the Line has been out well over a year. strange that it took a newer version of fab to fix the problem for an older movie, but a happy camper right now. Regards...

pennsylvaniaron: It wouldn't have mattered what movie you shrunk, either brand new or old as dirt. It was just a bug with that certain version that affected all BD+ discs.

wow really? ok did not know that. thx for the heads up! so I guess I'll delete the .exe file for 7090. I always save the files as fab keeps updating them. regards...

Yup, 7080 worked fine as well with BD+ movies, but it's not a good idea to encourage users to go back versions. It is just normal to fix the current version, hence the 7092 and 7093
